Corrections Policy
How we handle errors and keep our content accurate.
Our commitment to accuracy
OhChat AI Review aims to publish information that is factually accurate, clearly sourced and transparently dated. OhChat is a live product — its pricing, features and policies change. We cannot guarantee that every article is perfectly up to date at every moment, but we are committed to correcting material errors promptly when they are identified.
Types of corrections
| Type | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Material factual error e.g. wrong company number, incorrect price stated as fact |
Corrected in the article body. The "Research updated" date is revised. A brief correction note is added at the bottom of the affected article. |
| Outdated information e.g. a price that has changed since publication |
Updated in the article. "Research updated" date revised. If the change is significant, a note explains what changed and when. |
| Ambiguous or misleading wording | Clarified in the article. Date revised. No public correction note required unless the original could have caused material harm. |
| Typographic or formatting error | Fixed silently. No correction note required. |
| Pending publication gate Feature-test articles awaiting live test |
These are already clearly marked as pending, not published as complete. They are updated as testing progresses. |
What we do not retroactively change
We do not silently rewrite articles to remove verdicts, warnings or caveats that were accurate at the time of publication but are now inconvenient for commercial reasons. If a past assessment changes because the product has materially changed, we note both the original assessment and the reason for the update.
How to report an error
If you believe an article on this site contains a factual error, please:
- Identify the article — paste the URL or article title
- Describe the error — what the article states and what you believe is correct
- Provide a source — a link to the primary source (OhChat's official site, Companies House, etc.) is helpful but not required
- Contact us via the contact page
We aim to investigate genuine error reports within 5 business days.
What we do not correct
We do not treat the following as errors requiring correction:
- Editorial verdicts you disagree with (e.g. "I think OhChat is better value than you say")
- Content that OhChat, Utility3 Ltd or their affiliates would prefer not to be published
- Claims that are accurately marked as "pending" or "unconfirmed"
- Affiliate disclosures — these are intentional and required
