Cancellation proof checklist

- ✓ Last four digits of payment method
- ✓ Reminder set for 2 days before former renewal date
Cancellation vs account deletion
Cancelling a subscription stops future billing for that subscription. It does not delete the account, messages, generated content or legally retained transaction records. Account deletion is a separate privacy request — read the current Privacy Policy for identity-verification and retention details.
Cancellation vs refund
The current Terms say cancellation prevents future renewal but does not entitle the user to a refund for the current billing period, except where applicable law requires otherwise. For a duplicate or technically failed purchase, contact support promptly with the receipt, timestamp, amount and a concise explanation.
What to do if OhChat charges again
- Confirm the charge belongs to the cancelled subscription (not a separate profile, clip or bundle)
- Compare the merchant descriptor, amount and date with saved receipts
- Send support the cancellation proof and ask for the recurring billing token to be disabled
- If the merchant does not resolve a clearly unauthorised post-cancellation charge, contact your card issuer
